This is one of the Amazon Kindle Keyboard hidden features. It was not publicized at all by Amazon but never the less it's kind of cool to see eReading device can other than reading texts. Steps: Connect your Kindle Keyboard to your computer with the provided USB cable. A new removable drive named "Kindle"  will appear in your computer. Create a folder named "pictures"  directly under the Kindle drive. Create a sub folder under the "pictures" folder. This sub folder will be your photo album. Named your sub folder, which is also naming your photo album to your liking.  Transfer your pictures/photos into the sub folder / photo album. Safely remove the Kindle drive from your computer. Go to your Home screen. Refresh it by pressing " alt" and " z" buttons simultaneously. Your newly created photo album will appear as an eBook entry in your home screen. The recent update to the flashplugin-installer  package in Ubuntu (10.04) Lucid Lynx has change how Adobe caches temporary downloaded flash video (flv) for playback in browsers. Although there are many software available to download the flash video but copying from /tmp directory is the most easiest and convenient for me. The solution for me is to downgrade the flashplugin-installer  in my Ubuntu machine so i can use back the feature. Run Synaptic Package Manager . Search for flashplugin-installer . Select the flashplugin-installer package. Goto Package > Force Version . Select 10.0.45.2ubuntu1 version. Hit Apply to downgrade the package version. After the downgrade, goto Package > Lock Version . Note: I have saved the deb file just in case. [ DOWNLOAD ]

Some Symbian application installation files downloaded from OVI Store using "Download OVI Store sis/sisx Installation Files to PC" method post appears to have ".sis.dm" as the file extension. In order to use the installation file to install to any Nokia phone, the content of the installation file need to be modified. Note: By simply renaming the extension will not enable the installation file to install to Nokia phone. Follow these simple steps and you shall get the installable sis/sisx file. By using a test editor, open the ".sis.dm" file. Once opened, you will see in the first 3 lines of the file that looks something like this: --boundary-1 Content-Type: x-epoc/x-sisx-app Content-Transfer-Encoding: binary Delete them! Delete them until before the "z" character. Save As a new file with the same filename but with ".sis" extension. The installation file is ready to install in your Nokia phone.

This is a simple trick to download Nokia's OVI Store applications install files (sis/sisx) to PC using PC's web browser. Any web browser will do the trick. Files downloaded can be transfered to Nokia's Symbian phones to install the downloaded applications. Goto  OVI Store . Sign in with your OVI account. Select your mobile phone. Click to Enlarge Browse to the application page that you wish to download. Example:  http://store.ovi.com/content/8758 Append "/download" at the back of the application page and hit Enter button.
