Nokia Secret Codes

A list of secret codes to access various Nokia phones' information which are not presented in the menu.
  1. *#06#
    Displays the EMEI, the serial number of the mobile phone.
  2. *#0000#
    Displays the current installed firmware's information.
  3. *#2820# (*#bta_#)
    Displays the Bluetooth address of the mobile phone.
  4. *#62209526# (*#mac_wlan#)
     Displays the Wireless LAN's mac address of the mobile phone.
  5. *#7780# (*#rst_#)
    Soft reset the mobile phone. Restores settings to factory default settings but does not remove installed applications and games on the mobile phone.
  6.  *#7370# (*#res_#)
    Hard reset the mobile phone. Restores settings to factory default settings and remove all install applications and games in the mobile phone.
  7. *#3370#
    Enhanced Full Rate Codec (EFR) activation.
    Enhanced Full Rate increase the voice quality of phone calls with the expense of about 5% more energy compare to Full Rate codec.
  8. *#3370*
    (EFR) deactivation.
  9. *#4720#
    Half Rate Codec activation.
    Half Rate codec will lower the voice quality of phone calls but uses about 30% less energy.
  10. *#4720*
    Half Rate Codec deactivation.

  2. Sorry, the EFR and Half-Rate codec functions are not available in 5800.

  4. I don't have that phone but you can try it out. No harm on to it. You can also deactivate it back.
